This tutorial will show you how to successfully make money fast by promoting dating sites, using proven blogging methods.

Making Money Fast Online
A great many people begin their internet marketing careers wondering how exactly to get started. You might be sat there right now nodding your head. Each day you read the forums and your head is positively swimming with money-making methods that you see. You ask yourself which affiliate program to promote and how to promote it. Before you lays a dizzying plethora of possibilities. The question is which route will prove to be a successful use of your time over the next few months and, potentially, years.
What I will do today is lay out a way to make money fast as a dating affiliate. I will show you how to earn at least $3000 per month and your only expenditure will be cheap hosting that you can get for as little as 10 bucks.
Now there are hundreds of ways to make $3000 a month. If you’ve been reading Promote Dating for any length of time you already know that. This method is one of many that I am comfortable giving to new dating affiliates. Why? Well, it is not a get-rich-quick scheme promising overnight riches. What it does is show you how to setup with little cost and provide a truly sustainable and growing source of income that will teach you the basics of webmastering and provide enjoyable daily work-tasks.
Step 1 : Your Dating Affiliate Sponsors
The first step in this tutorial is to sign up to the following sponsors. We’ll be basing our marketing campaigns specifically on them both.
Dating Gold, which will pay us from $1 to $5 per free lead.
IWantU, paying from $50 to $100 per credit card signup.
I’ll go make coffee while you do that. You take sugar?
OK, so you’ve joined your new dating sponsors. Onto the next step.
At this point I should mention it may be helpful to read my other article, Make Money From Online Dating Part 1, but not necessary.
Step 2 : Choosing A Niche And A Relevant Site
You need to decide on the dating niche you can effectively promote. Go to Google Adwords Keyword Tool and enter the term “dating”. You can see here which niches are most popular among surfers and advertisers. I advise choosing a niche that you’ll be comfortable writing about for the foreseeable future.
After selecting a niche or a topic for your blog comes the important decision about just how you’ll be presenting your subject-matter.
You could choose senior dating as a subject and create a blog that gives the elderly tips on dating. Or you could choose adult personals and your blog could be about your personal adventures, whether made up or real.
How you present your niche is an important decision. I suggest looking at popular dating blogs for further inspiration.
Step 3 : Domain Choice, Wordpress Installation, Theme Customization
As I’ve said in the past, wordpress blogs are traffic monsters. They’re also incredibly easy for the newbie to install, optimize, design and monetize.
With a niche chosen you need to find a good domain. For the purposes of our niche dating blog a good domain is at once memorable and made up of a relevant keyword.
I’ll assume you already have hosting. Direct your domain name to your host and install your wordpress blog. Refer to my article on the Top 10 Wordpress SEO Plugins and use it to optimize your blog for the search engines.
You’ll want to change the default wordpress theme to something less common. A number of websites provide free themes:
Smashing Magazine : Beautiful Wordpress Themes You (Probably) Haven’t Seen.
Blog Flux : A large, searchable, themes directory.
If you’re comfortable with wordpress, spend a little time customising your theme. You can find stock images over at istockphoto and morguefile to use in the creation of a free logo.
Kristian’s Extra Tip : Choose a niche with low competition. Investigate blogs in that niche and get ideas. Implement the best ideas. This will give you a good chance of, eventually, coming out on top of the SERP (Search Engine Results Page) for your dating topic.
Step 4 : Monetization Of Your Niche Dating Blog
The key to successful on-site promotion is to have your ads blend in with your site. I am not one for flashy, blinking, screaming banners.
You have joined two dating sponsors - Dating Gold and IWantU- which affords you several dating sites and possible niches to promote.
Notice the text ads I use here on Promote Dating. They blend in with the site design. I’d like you to create something similar on your blog.
Use eye-catching titles that compel the viewer to read the description. Your description should be short and enticing. Let me give you a couple of examples.
Bad Example:
Free Dating Site
Join up to Amateur Match for free dating.
Good Example:
Need A Man To Take Out The Trash?
Ladies, post a free ad on AmateurMatch. I guarantee you’ll have hundreds of guys begging to see to your needs!
Another point the good example proves to make is you should be monetizing for both a male and female audience. Look around at dating and personal site promotion. You’ll soon notice most of it is aimed at men. You have everything to gain by appealing to both sexes.
With all this in mind, you should select two main affiliate campaigns.
1. Dating Gold - free email leads. You’re going to want to promote AmateurMatch or any other relevant site using their per free lead campaign. You start out on $1 per lead and rise to $5, depending on how well your traffic converts to paying members.
2. IWantU - per signup program. You get paid a minimum of 50 bucks which rises to 100. You have the ability to send your traffic to a general dating site, gay and lesbian, and alternative lifestyle personals. You can also choose a multitude of landing pages to suit your traffic. For example on the above ad I write, you would want to send prospects to a page of male search results in their own locality.
The remainder of your on-site promotions will come in your blog posts.
Step 5 : Writing Killer Dating Blog Posts
There are hundreds of online resources that teach how to write good blog posts. I’m going to list 11 basic blogging tips that relate to what we’re doing here, blogging for dating profits.
1. Use keywords in your titles.
2. The optimum number of keywords to have in your post is 1 to 3. Try to make them flow naturally into your writing.
3. Make your posts short and use around 12 to 25 words a paragraph.
4. Include link codes to appropriate dating sites in every post.
5. Create linkbait. A good post encourages other blogs to link to it, therefore giving you more inbound links and more traffic. Examples of good linkbaits are lists (top 10s), tips, and anything topical.
6. Write about what your readers want to know. If in doubt, it’s a blog, just ask them.
7. Make your posts easy to read. Use a conversational tone.
8. Use lists, bullet points and sub-headings which makes your posts easy to scan.
9. Link to relevant blogs (not always your affiliate dating sites). Other bloggers will usually reciprocate.
10. Be unique in terms of what you write about, your style and perspective.
11. Use images of people and link them with your unique linking codes. Many dating blogs are simply collections of pics, linked to dating sites, with relevant keyword text.
Step 6 : Getting Free Traffic
We can get blog traffic for free. Simply writing blog posts each day will start your traffic flowing. The following list gives you other methods of getting targeted dating traffic:
1. Viral Marketing : Give something away for free like an e-book or report on seduction techniques.
2. Article Marketing : Use the bum marketing approach to writing articles for such directories as ezinearticles and goarticles.
3. Yahoo Answers : Participate, don’t spam, and answer relevant questions.
4. Groups : Create a yahoo, google or msn group.
5. Google Images : include keywords in your image tags.
6. Comment Blogs : Find related blogs and make unique comments.
7. Forums : Participate in forums and include a sig file.
8. Social Bookmarking : Whenever you write a post make sure you submit it to some or all of the social bookmarking sites,
Some recommended social bookmarking sites :
* Blue Dot
* del.icio.us
* Digg
* Diigo
* Furl
* GiveALink.org
* Ma.gnolia
* My Web
* Netscape
* Netvouz
* Newsvine
* Reddit
* Simpy
* SiteBar
* StumbleUpon
* Thoof
9. Technorati : Every blog should have a technorati account.
10. Syndication : Ensure your feeds are syndicated and submitted to aggregators.
11. 404 Pages : Setup your 404 pages to redirect to the Dating Gold pay per lead program (which converts the easiest since it’s free)
12. Blog Review Exchanges : Participate with other bloggers by writing reviews of each blog in the group.
13. Link Exchanges : Find relevant blogs and trade links.
14. Blog Stickiness : Encourage readers to bookmark and return to your site. Getting readers to participate in comment discussions, setting up polls, writing with regularity, promising the release of exciting information in the future are just a few ways to get your readers to return.
15. Simplicity : Keep it simple. Everything from your domain name to the titles of your blogs should INSTANTLY spell out what your site is about. Example: PromoteDating.com. Not only that but how you write and what you write about should be easy for anyone to grasp. And ensure you give them what they expect - remain relevant by sticking to your blog topic at all times.
Step 7 : The Mathematics Of $3000 Per Month
If you follow steps 1 through 6 you will be in possession of a stable business model with long-term growth prospects.
In this final step I’m going to show you how your traffic adds up to money-earned.
We have chosen two sponsors because it is always best to diversify.
1. Dating Gold.
Now let’s say you only get paid $1 per free join. Keep in mind you can negotiate up to $5 if you send sufficient joins. But let’s ONLY assume that you get paid 1 buck. Let us further assume that you convert uniques to free joins at a rather average ratio of 1:20. Trust me you can convert at 1:4, 1:7 with targeted traffic.
If you send 1000 uniques / day to Dating Gold and convert at 1:20, you earn $50 per day.
At $5 per join it would obviously be $250 / day; $500 if you converted at 1:10.
2. IWantU.
We’re also working on the assumption here that you get paid the absolute minimum - which, again, is a huge 50 bucks.
If you convert at 1:1000 (1 signup per 1000 uniques) then you earn $50.
I’m being incredibly conservative yet again because you can easily convert at under 1:100.
$3,000 Per Month In Revenue
So putting these two dating sponsors together now, we know that if you send 2000 uniques per day to your sponsor you will make a minimum of $100 per day or $3000 per month.
This figure could EASILY be 10 times that! I’m not joking - ask any experienced dating affiliate how well he converts dating sponsors on blog traffic.
Even if you have to setup more than one blog to achieve this level of traffic, all you have to do is make a post every 1 to 3 days on each one. If you’re able to send 500 uniques a day to sponsors per blog, then you need 4 blogs and so on.
The potential of this business model is huge. Bloggers can earn a few hundred bucks a month or tens of thousands!
If You Have Questions, Ask Away!
The above system is just one way to earn money fast as a dating affiliate. There are literally HUNDREDS of techniques to learn. In time I will cover every known method and, hopefully, some new ones!
If you have any questions or wish to add anything helpful please go ahead and comment like a mad thing!

Awesome ideas.
Hi!
I’m in the internet biz from 2000 but i never promote the dating sites. I had success with the live cam affiliate program who generate month by month big bucks. Reading your posts i see some nice ideas about “how to” make some extra money with the dating & personals web sites. I know there all the revenue is based on the monthly membership cut, so , we all affiliate can to choose between the one time payout (pay-per-join/sign up) or rev share. I know in the adult industry are a lot of affiliate programs who don’t work well with revshare or PPS. Can u share your experience about revshare vs PPS?! Which dating affiliate program are serious and not so saturated at this time?! Which dating affiliates are trusted, which not?!
Ps: You have a nice site, Congrats!
Thank you for your Posts
Hi there,
Thanks for the kind words!
In the long-term I generate the most per-click earnings by using the rev-share programs. In the future, I’ll do a detailed report on it. I also find retentions last longer with the niche dating sites. I’ve got memberships to Alt.com, for instance, that are over 18 months old. As far as which affiliate programs are trusted - you can trust any that I list on my site. I promote them myself and have a good relationship with the owners too in most cases (AdultDateLink is the only newcomer for me, but their niche sites are performing very nicely indeed).
I think PPS is usually best for anyone who needs quick cash. Free email / profile leads are even easier, obviously. In your case, with you probably having nice money coming in, I’d say go with the revshare progs (and use my link codes he he). Right now my top 3 revshare programs are with friendfinder (alt.com and adult friend finder), datinggold and IwantU.
Great.If nothing else, I now have a reason to work with wordpress.
Regardless of what type of blog you create, there is a lot of good resources on here.
hi, i ever promote cam site and dating site, the same traffic, i found cam site income is much more than dating site. i don’t know why? Which dating affiliate program are rock and trusted ?
Thank you for your Posts
I also thought about giving dating a shot. I’ve tried for a few weeks sending traffic to a dating site through adwords, but no sign ups. What dating affiliate programs can you recommand? Which converts best in your opinion and what kind of traffic should I send. Regards.
I signup under you man for 3 dating programs. with few weeks ago. All work fine i got few signups but iwantu is dead, i sent there over 200 uniques and they show me just 5 clicks:(. They have problems?!
Talking with other people who promote that site ,,the same problem for all! Or maybe is too saturated iwantu?!
you do a nice job buddy!
Have a nice time and good luck at big sales:)
Great info however how can you control the bounce rate?
Thanks for the ideas. Good stuff.
I have a web page that has cash for the first word. Should I create a sub domain or just add WP to the hosting site? Never dealt with WP before.
Also, is there a good market for adult dating?
Thanks,
Dave
Well it took me a little while to find this post in Google but I’m definitely glad I did. I was looking for a nice short guide like this to begin working on promoting my new online dating blog. With these tips I’m sure I’ll be well on my way to $3000 per month.
Thanks, Scott.
