A New Coat Of Paint For Promote Dating

This will undoubtedly convince you that Kristian is a geek.

So, a few hours ago, on a Sunday evening, I’m sat here in my office looking at Promote Dating and thinking to myself “You know, this place could do with a new coat of paint.”

Several hours later - and a few gray hairs - and, hey presto-chango, we have an altogether new look! I refuse to bore you with the details. Suffice it to say, I created the logo myself in photoshop and bought a neat magazine theme that I’m already familiar with, having used it on another site, called Revolution Music.

The next step might be to go with a custom logo. I use a few different logo designers for my sites but, honestly, have never considered it for Promote Dating until tonight. When I first began posting my ramblings here I just assumed it would be a fun hobby but, in terms of traffic-volume, a bit of a ghost town. So who cares what it looks like, right? Right! Tonight though I received an email from someone who owns one of the largest dating sites in the business. He told me he’d read the site and I should continue writing. Well, when someone like that tells you they like what you do, you listen. And the thing is he’s not the only person who, recently, has told me the site was pretty good. So, here’s what I figure, we have people who like the site and think I’m not wasting my time. So, why shouldn’t I make it look pretty, right? Right!
