August Promo Payouts

High promotional payouts for dating affiliates have continued throughout August.

Whether real or perceived (and self-satisfying), summer slowdown invariably generates competition among dating sponsors to release staggering promotional payouts. August, ‘07, does not disappoint; in fact, we’re witnessing historical highs.

Dating Gold have gone all out with $75 per-signup for amateurmatch.com memberships and a powerful new collection of promotional tools (”We’ve added the video and magnifying flash ads and extended $75 per sale on amateurmatch and added $100 per sale on WWC.” - Nick, Dating Gold).

Adult Friend Finder, while unfortunately releasing no tools, have gone 10 bucks better and offered $85 a signup for adultfriendfinder.com and passion.com membership sales.

I Want U top our list of promotional payouts with a gigantic $100 per signup! This has been ongoing since June and will continue into September. As with competing promotions, no conversion ratios need be maintained, nor is it denied existing affiliates.

So, as dating affiliates, who do we choose? On the surface the obvious choice is the sponsor with the highest payout. However, I’ve found different traffic sources convert better with certain sponsors, and some sponsors simply convert better overall (despite every effort). I tend to rotate sponsor advertising to test which converts best on a given site. I’m currently promoting all three of the above sponsors and Dating Gold, with the lowest payout, is actually earning me the highest income per click. Now I might need to tweak my advertising for AFF and IWantU or perhaps it’s because the support I receive from Dating Gold is superior (although the other two are still excellent, or else I wouldn’t list them). I spoke to AK of Dating Gold today who said, “I can personally say that we do our best to be as accessible and as helpful we can be.” He’s being extremely modest.

In my experience, every webmaster seems to have a program (or a site) they’re simply better at promoting (sometimes for no obvious reason). If you’ve never promoted these sponsors before, give them a test run to find out who actually earns you the most for your clicks!
